Vintage & Mid-Century Sideboard Restoration

• Structural Repair and Stabilisation
  We carefully assess every joint, door and drawer mechanism, tightening and repairing where needed so your sideboard is sturdy, level and ready for everyday use.
• Surface Refinishing
  Depending on the level of restoration required, we can revive the existing finish or remove it completely and re-polish. We use natural, hand-applied materials such as Danish oil, hard-wax oils (Osmo), French polish and traditional oils and waxes. Scratches, water marks and other surface damage are removed in the process, bringing the sideboard back to its original beauty.
• Veneer Repairs
  Many mid-century sideboards feature fine veneer panels that give them their distinctive character. We repair chips or replace missing sections, carefully colour-matching for a seamless finish. In some cases, repairs may be limited if the substructure beneath the veneer is compromised.
