Greg Aubert has over 38 years’ experience restoring fine antique furniture, with extensive knowledge of traditional restoration techniques including French polishing, hand finishing, timber repairs, veneer work, colour matching, structural restoration, upholstery and machine sewing.
Prior to founding Aubert Furniture in the late 1990s, Greg served as Head Restorer at the renowned Flossoms Antiques in Mosman, one of Sydney’s most respected antique establishments at the time. There, he trained under the guidance of highly skilled European restorers, completed a Certificate III in Traditional Cabinetmaking, and gained extensive hands-on experience, building a strong reputation for quality restoration work.

Today, Aubert Furniture continues to restore antique furniture for clients throughout Sydney, with an emphasis on traditional restoration techniques, skilled repair work and attention to detail. We also occasionally collaborate with seamstresses and other specialist restoration professionals to ensure every project meets our high standards.
