Restoration 1950s Grant Featherston B210 TV chair

Grant Featherston was an Australian furniture designer, born in Geelong in 1922. The unique contours of his chairs literally hug you as you sit in them, so it’s hard not to love them. They are always a pleasure to work on. We just completed full restoration, repair and reupholstery of this fantastic original 1950s Grant Featherston B210 TV chair for Anne-Marie from the NSW South Coast. This was a tricky one as the old curved ply base was completely rotten and required extensive repair work. Legs restored while retaining the natural age and patina. Fabric is Bolt Poppy from Zepel.
